Memory Of a Place - 2022

The piece summons the memory of the place through light, sound and movement: what it used to be and what it is now but also what it could be, what it may become. The light and music composition evokes the passing of time, with the deteriorations and transformations it brings. The waves of sound and the rays of light are exposing layers of memory. The artists wander around the space and fill it with their presence in a way that evolves into a sort of ritual.

With Memory of a Place, Ofer pushes his interest for in situ audiovisual art further, and composes a piece that celebrates the straight outline and sober yet mysterious atmosphere of the architectural ensemble.
